News :Mischa Barton draws more attention to her dimpled thighs as she arrives on set in floral shorts

She's only 23, but poor Mischa Barton has already got the worries of the world on her shoulders.

Her career has been in nosedive since she left teen series The OC, she's recently had a spell in a psychiatric hospital after an alleged three-day drug binge and to top it all she has an unfortunate habit of appearing in unflattering photos.

Take these latest ones, which once again drew attention to her dimply thighs.

With her battle against the onset of cellulite well flagged, her choice of floral shorts was perhaps not the best.

While predisposition to cellulite is genetic, it can also be brought on by increased stress and smoking! , amongst other things.

The actress, whose weight regularly fluctuates, certainly did herself few favours as she arrived on the set of The Beautiful Life in New York with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth. .

She plays a drug addict model in the upcoming American show which is being produced by Ashton Kutcher.

But while Mischa is back at work, friends of the star have accused her of not taking her rehabilitation seriously.

A source told Heat magazine: 'The fact she was out [of rehab] right away proves she's not taking things seriously enough.

'It was like a big "f*** you". She's too proud and independent sometimes.'

Friend, Suzanne Coppin, added: 'I'm disappointed she's not taking advice and doing her own thing.'
